Your electrical appliance is connected to a socket and the sensor is stuck with an adhesive pad provided onto the window.

Product description:

The MicroSwitch is a power switch managed by an input contact. The 2 input contacts connected to a push button, a relay contact, a capacitive touch switch like the SensoPad trigger the internal relay to supply with 220V all the fittings such as lignhts, motors, electrical appliances...

The SensoPad is an interface used to send playback order to any device providing input contacts such as the MicroPlayer. It is a proximity sensor without direct contacts. Stuck onto an insulating surface, the SensoPad detects approach of finger through any material.
